Phil Scott joined Crouch & Lyndon Pty Ltd in October 1996. He was formerly a partner in the Cairns firm of Williams Graham & Carman. He brought with him to our firm extensive general and litigation knowledge.

Having practised continuously in Queensland since admission as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1972, Phil has an intimate knowledge of the Queensland Court system and Government requirements and infrastructure.

Phil practises in the areas of commercial litigation, insurance law, building and construction law, corporate law and insolvency.

He has had extensive experience in Arbitration and Mediation and is a Nationally accredited and Queensland Law Society specialist accredited Mediator.

He is chair of the Queensland Law Society Alternate Dispute Resolution section and chair of the Advisory Commitee to the Queensland Law Society for accreditation of mediation specialists and is actively interested in resolving disputes without recourse to expensive and protracted litigation.

Phil is a very experienced mediator, having carried out over 500 mediations. He mediates commercial litigation, building disputes and shopping centre disputes.

Barry Johnson joined Crouch & Lyndon Pty Ltd in 2009.  Barry was admitted in 1979 in Queensland and 1983 in Victoria. Barry has been a partner in both a small city firm and large national firm before lengthy overseas stints. He has wide experience in most areas of commercial law, wills and deceased estate administration.

Barry has lectured in conveyancing and chaired and spoken at Queensland Law Society seminars on property law and leasing. He became a Notary Public in 2003.

Eric Kwan is a lawyer specialising in the area of commercial law, having many years of experience in the field giving practical legal advice. In particular, Eric is thoroughly experienced in providing advice in the area of commercial and retail leasing, business structures, and other property matters.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Law specialising in Commercial Law and a Masters in Commerce specialising in Finance and Electronic Commerce from the University of Queensland, and is admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland as a solicitor.

Rachel Adams is a litigation and dispute resolution lawyer. Prior to joining Crouch & Lyndon, Rachel was with a prominent national mid-tier commercial law firm, gaining experience in the areas of Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Corporate and Commercial and Property law.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Queensland, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law and is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland, as well as of the High Court of Australia.
