History of Crouch & Lyndon

The firm was founded in 1894 by Edward Robert Crouch when he set up practice in the Brisbane CBD. For over 100 years the firm has maintained its City presence and its contribution to the commercial growth of the City of Brisbane. The firm has had an active role throughout its history in the Queensland Law Society, providing a President of the Society through the founder’s son, Mr. Peter Terence Crouch CBE.

The firm’s clients throughout the years have been a Who’s Who of Brisbane corporate and business identities and the firm has utilised its lengthy involvement in the City’s commerce to hone and broaden its commercial expertise. The firm has always endeavoured to remain a relevant Queensland business and believes it is at an optimum size to service the needs of its commercial clients while still being able to exercise a degree of specialisation so necessary in the modern business environment.
